I can’t believe it’s November. It’s been such a mild fall here in Portland, but these last few weeks the season has finally turned, and I’m feeling it: gift-giving, hosting family, decorating, getting our homes ready for the holidays.

Every store I walk into right now is full of mass-produced holiday decor. That’s exactly why I’m so proud of what happens at our warehouse. We help families find new homes for a lifetime of treasures, and in doing so, we offer an alternative to overproduction and big-box shopping.

These pieces come from a time before eBay and before a HomeGoods on every corner. People saved up and worked hard for their furniture, their art, their collections. They were made with quality and care, and it shows. Our crew takes real pride in bringing each family’s estate together into a cohesive story, so you can picture how a piece might live in your home.

I’ve been traveling a lot lately, on the East Coast and in California, and it reminded me how lucky we are in the Pacific Northwest to have a place like this. We hold a high standard: nothing broken, stained, chipped or musty. Just beautiful, well-priced items, each with a family behind it hoping it gets used and loved again.

This month you’ll find:

    •    Original artwork and art books

    •    Entertaining pieces for your table, food and drinks, plus hostess gifts

    •    Kitchenware, including several KitchenAid mixers, high-end cookware like All-Clad, everyday basics and fun vintage finds

    •    Fashion: elegant pieces, cozy fall sweaters, lots of shoes, and jewelry to gift or to dress up your favorite coat

    •    Coca-Cola collectibles, perfect for a themed gift basket or a school auction donation

    •    Teacher gifts, unopened toys, and craft and art supplies

    •    Patio furniture, and only the best of it

With so many of you shopping our sales, we make sure there’s something for everyone, and this month is no exception.
